SABC, the South Africa national broadcaster has offered the ruling party ANC an amount of R200-million for its broadcast right.
Confirming the deal to a group of SABC journalists, Hlaudi Motsoeneng who is the boss of the national broadcaster said “this is the best deal ever. We have gotten exclusive right to report all their activities.”
In a contract that was secretly signed, ANC activists would only be broadcasted by SABC. All ANC news items would be handled by SABC.
According to Motsoeneng, he has been looking forward to this and is much grateful for the ANC for offering such a better offer for the company.
